The Last Tycoon by F Scott Fitzgerald

This is way too incomplete to pass meaningful judgement on, as it stands. One can only assume that the end product – much of the story is missing as is the intended honing down – had the potential to be a fine work, based on how engrossing this work in progess is.

I see there is a movie, screenplay by Pinter, with De Niro in the starring role, directed by Kazan, and Robert Mitchum and the wonderful Donald Pleasence thrown in for good measure. MUST SEE!!!
